Healthy, Wealthy And Wise Speakers

Recently I attended a seminar presented by 3 well-respected professionals in their chosen industries of Personal Training (Healthy), Property Investing (Wealthy) and Business (Wise).

It was a free seminar, with approximately 50 people in the audience. I noticed there were a few couples, but by far, more of the guests were women. And we know that women think, invest and learn differently from their male counterparts.

Graeme, the Personal Trainer, spoke about the ‘Top 10 Tips’ for being healthy:

1. Set Goals
2. Plan and Prepare
3. Count Your Calories (or speaking engagements!)
4. Eat Close to Nature
5. Eat a Balance Diet
6. Vary Your Diet
7. Weight Train for Good Health
8. Train for Your Chosen Goals
9. Rest and Recovery
10. Do What You Enjoy

In likening this to your speaking business, I would say the ‘Top 10 Tips’ for a healthy speaking business would similarly be:

1. Set Goals
2. Plan and Prepare
3. Count Your Speaking Engagements
4. Speak From Your Heart
5. Speak at a Number of Different Venues and Different Clients
6. Vary Your Speech
7. Train for Good Presenting
8. Train for Your Chosen Goals
9. Rest and Recovery
10. Do What You Enjoy

Your speaking is a ‘Business’, so if you treat it as such and it will reward you as such.
